Finally, we went to the Point Reyes and saw the famous lighthouse which you would see in almost every book on lighthouses. It was so foggy there and we were unable to see anything beyond 10 meters range. The place recorded the strongest wind in California, but fortunately it was quite peaceful yesterday. We have planned to go hiking a bit somewhere but gave up finally for the dam fog.
We decided to take a different way back home - Freeway No.1. It's indeed beautiful, but it is so curly for the part we drove. For most of time, you wouldn't expect to go beyond 30 miles per hour and sometimes cliffs are right besides the road.
I have thought to take this freeway all the way to the south california, but maybe i have to change my plan. For one thing, it's slow; for another, you get tired soon driving with that road conditions. The good thing is highway 101 is not far away so that whenever i want to take a break and catch some pace i can switch to it in no time, and when i want to see the beautiful seashore views i can switch back.
Not yet detailed the travel plan and rentals. But just got the sleeping bag and tent last week. I dont think i can afford hotels everynight by myself. So i will camp everywhere possible. And there seem quite some camping sites on the way.
Although you are not with me, but actually, you always were and would be, in my heart and mind. I will try to save every piece of it to review with you, in near and/or far future.
