"60年代末，在伦敦和纽约街头墙壁上最显眼的涂鸭是“克莱普顿(Clapton)是上帝”(Clapton is God)。他现在的一大部分歌迷在那句绽开在街头的名言出现时还没有出生。

年轻时Clapton参加了很多英国的布鲁斯乐队，包括Roosters, Casey Jones，而后参加了一只十分突出的乐队Yardbirds，乐队其中3个的成员最成为了英国60年代的吉他英雄：Clapton、吉米佩奇(Jimmy Page)、杰夫贝克(Jeff Beck)。

 

不幸的是，由于个人的不幸、工作的压力，使这位吉他手嗜毒成瘾。他挣扎在他的毒瘾中，并希望战胜它。他使用了一种传统且有效的电子针灸疗法，最后治愈了。虽然有人说Clapton再也没有达到他使用毒品时的音乐高度，但他在继续着他的传奇。

 

1998年，Polygram发行了一套4张CD专辑Crossroad来回顾他的音乐事业时，他毫无疑问成为了摇滚的代言人，这套专辑赢得了格莱美(Grammy)最佳历史专辑奖，最佳专辑注释奖。

几个月后，他又遇到了另一个残酷的打击，他和意大利籍模特Lori Del Santo的儿子Conor从Del Santo在曼哈顿公寓的49层坠楼而亡。Clapton把他的悲痛写入了赢得1992年格莱美奖的Tears in Heaven中，纪念他的儿子。(Tears in Heaven和Clapton的Unplugged专辑在那年共赢得了六项格莱美奖)。1994年，他又开始回到了传统布鲁斯的风格，专辑From the Cradle标志着他回到最标准的布鲁斯.

第一次听到这张UNPLUGGED,好些年前了. 从地摊上买的走私的打口DVD. 喜欢极了. 现在我还有那张碟, 只不过在国内的家里. 前两天, 有人做了CLAPTON的帖子, 又狠狠的听了一遍.  放上这首RUNNING ON FAITH 分享一下.

They missed so many clear shots. Porland's defence is solid but not as super as their goal keeper. Fantastic Job!

But their well repspectable work was ruined in the last minute, or ignorance of a few seconds to be concise. They were defeated with glory. Ballack was back from injuries, and was offended many times in the game. I like this guy playing, not as well as the "soul in the middle filed" in this game though. German soccer men play solid and effective games and they never give up till the last second, but i dont like their soccer style. For me, soccer is not only of win or loss, but more of passion. That' s why i like brazil, england and neitherland, even though neitherland didn't even qualify last World Cup.

一首影视主题. 听不懂唱的什么. 旋律也一般. 喜欢这种感觉-配乐简单, 声音干净.

仔细听, 好象有走音. 不过唱的 很放松, 很有感情. 让我想起另外一首歌, 现场版的SAVE THE LAST FOR THE BEST. 听的时候总觉的手中拿着拨片, 然后阳光斜斜的照进来, 洒在手上,而且一定是透过窗子照进来的. 很奇怪,但是每次都这样想着.

 

以前唱K的时候, 总要讲究像这个,那个的.其实自己唱的快乐,唱的享受就好了. 很早以前, 国内流行DISCO, 大家狂听荷东的舞曲. 那时候还小, 但已经开始崇拜拿着扫帚把儿跳舞的人. 哥哥有个曾经很要好的朋友叫海滨, 常来家里玩, 每次一听到舞曲, 身子扭个不停, 他说忍不住. 虽然样子不怎么样, 他很享受.

 

傍晚的时候去逛BARNES & NOBLES, 路上有个人坐在地上自弹自唱. 都是很有名的曲子, BEATLES, EAGLES, SIMON & GARFUNKEL...多数时间, 他只是自顾自的唱. 面前放着一个空的可乐杯子, 里面零散着几个硬币和一员的纸币.  他好象也不在乎别人是不是往里面扔钱,只是唱歌. 他接连唱了十五首, 我便听了十五首. 那几个硬币后来被他给了一个路人用做趴车费.

 

今天老板说, 世界杯其间,他要解雇自己. 要放松, 要尽情享受.

Went to the fishing pier along the SF bay yesterday. Still feel excited about it. You see boat goes with hope, boat comes with monster samons, stripers, sturgeons, and halibuts. And there are processing men on the marina, fishermen pay a little money to get their yields processed right on spot so that they are back home with fresh meat only. For those who dont have a boat, they can only fish on the pier and their yields are much less, but still much fun. the pier extends one or two miles into the bay, you see hundreds of fishing poles line up on the pier.

 

People got more stripers and samons than other fishes, but one guy told me, that halibut tastes "much, much and much" better than samons. He used three" much" in a clear and slow voice, i guess he just wanted to impress me. I thought to myself, i believe you more if you could gimme one halibut for free.  He mentioned to me the difference: samon is orange meat while haibut white meat. I could see that when the processing man cut into the fat fish bodies. It's really an excitement for the people carrying their yields and waiting in line for fish-processing. They talked in highlighted voice how they fight with this "beautiful" samon or struggeld with that "ugly" halibut. And i know "ugly" can be used to indicate your love as well as "beautiful".

 

I was somehow lost on the way back.  There is a biking/running trail along the bay which i was told later is about 14 miles long. i had no idea about where i was going, just followed the trail south. As i realized i might some way away from Berkeley, i had been in another town already. I vaguely know how the bart line goes, so i biked towards my assumed direction. Just when i was looking for the Bart station, i passed by a fleamarket where you see many people deal on all kinds of stuff. There was a bunch of black people playing music and dancing at a corner of the fleamarket. It's kind of africa. I dont know what they are playing. Most are percussion instruments from what i can tell. There was a woman twisted her body in a crazy/exaggertating, but nonetheless grace way.  You can't believe it, as i watched her dancing, a big sign jumped into my eyes. God, that was the entrance to the Bart station. My target came easily as a by-product of randomness.

 

Bart took me home. Thinking about trying another random trip the second day after the morning Neitherland game. But unfortunately, i got up late today, missed the game and found it's a cold and cloudy day. Feeling blue.

These guys had a sweepstake for the World Cup, everybody put in ten bucks. I was late for the frist round draw. The thing goes like this, thirteen people draw from the top 13 seeds and then draw a second time from the following 13 seeds, so that everyone has two teams. if your teams end up NO. 1, 2, or 3, you win part of the pool. since i was late for the first round, somebody got one for me. coundn't be worse. it's japan, something like seed ranking 12. I got Croatia for the second round myself, pretty good for a second round draw. Overall, i am still below the average. Anyway, just for fun. And tomorrow, opening ceremony and opening game, dont miss it if you could. There is a Brazillian Pizza place right downstair where i am working. will try to sneak out for it.
